Does the renewal cost more?

What happens if I forget to renew?
The domain stops working and the registrar deletes it. For a period, usually about 30 days, only you can get it back, for $71.99 plus one year of renewal; after that anyone can register it.
Can I move my .app domain to another registrar?
Yes. Open the domain in your account and click Get transfer code — you get the code (EPP / auth code) on the spot.
Is a .app domain good for SEO?
Google treats .app like any other generic extension — no extension gets a ranking boost or penalty. Rankings depend on your content and the links to it, so choose the extension your visitors will remember.
Who registers it?
